How to Prepare
To support your journey, we invite you to bring:
- A yoga mat and a blanket for sitting and integration
- A flower offering of 3 different colors for the water blessing ritual
- A 2-piece swimsuit for the Kene body painting and sauna use
- A water bottle and your own tea cup for herbal teas
- A sarong, light dress, or towel for the water ritual and sauna
- Comfortable clothes for ceremony, movement, and rest
- Warm layers for the outdoor fire circle
- A notebook or journal for reflections and integration
- A small item or offering for the communal altar (optional)
- Walking shoes for the 2 km river hike
And your open heart, presence, and prayer!

The Immersion takes place in a private, beautiful community house with an indoor-outdoor setting, nestled in a lush Helsinki suburb, just 2 km from the Vantaanjoki River.
Public transportation is effortless — easily accessible by bus or train from the city center, and only about 20 minutes from Helsinki Airport.
Parking: A limited number of parking spots are available and will be assigned on a first-come, first-served basis. Full details, parking instructions, and the exact address will be shared after registration.

Accomadation
We currently offer the following accommodation options, with limited availability on a first-reserve, first-book basis:

Stay in your own tent (recommended option): You’re welcome to bring your own tent and set it up in the beautiful natural surroundings of our retreat space. This is an ideal choice if you value privacy and a quiet personal space.

Stay in the traditional Lapp hut (kota): The cozy kota in the yard provides a simple, shared sleeping experience for 2–3 people. You can bring your own mattress or use one of the ones we provide. Spots in the kota are limited and assigned on a first come, first served basis—so be sure to book early!

What’s Not Included
Please note the following are not included in your immersion ticket:
- Accommodation —We’re happy to offer limited on-site accommodation for those traveling from afar, we are unfortunately unable to accommodate all participants. Spaces are assigned on a first-reserve, first-get basis. If you don’t receive on-site accommodation, we’re happy to recommend nearby places to stay and offer a discount to support you. Just reach out to us!
- Transportation to and from the venue — Please arrange your own travel. Free street parking is available nearby and public transportation is effortless.Â
- Personal Hygien — Towels, bed sheets, and personal bathing items such as shampoo and soap are not provided. Please bring your own.
- Items from the Shipibo Bazaar — Beautiful handmade textiles, tools, and Shipibo crafts will be available for purchase. Please bring cash.
